T was taking pictures of lipstick for her pic tonight. I figured I'd see how well the macro function on my new camera worked. So I set the manual focus as close as possible and got closer and closer until I could see the texture on the tip of the lipstick. Turns out that you get close enough to smudge lipstick all over the lens and still be in focus. Hence the picture of Q-tips which I had to use to to clean the lipstick off.
