Inspired by Flickr's "Project 365" and my friend Kathy, I will attempt to post one picture per day for a year starting August 1st 2007. Sometimes the pictures will be artistic, sometimes they will be things that were important to me on that day and other times they will just be pictures of things I thought were funny. I am sure a lot of poorly shot, poorly composed photos will be taken, but hopefully so will one or two great ones.

#010 Yeah It's Another Sunset....

070810-7, originally uploaded by AXO - 365.

So after my trip to Baker Beach on Monday, T and I decided to take a walk and watch the sunset after work. T's new camera has a 'sunset' mode so I gave it a try. You can see the rest of the pics here

#009 Watering Can

Project365 070809, originally uploaded by AXO - 365.

Sometimes I walk through out courtyard and I get a picture of what the kids in our building have been up to that day. Sometimes it's really obvious like when there's a baseball bat and a home plate set up, sometimes a little more subtle like last week when there were two chalk lines at opposite end of the yard and I finally realized there had been races. Today there was a child sized watering can and a mini trowel, so I'm guessing some gardening was done!

#008 de Young @ Night

070808-3, originally uploaded by AXO - 365.

Trish and I rent a monthly space in the parking lot of the de Young museum across the street, tomorrow is street cleaning and I'm working from home, so we moved my car into the parking lot. We walked home though the park and I snapped this pic.

Bed Time!, originally uploaded by AXO - 365.

These are all pills we take before bed (not in these doses). The white ones are sleeping pills for T. The green ones are women's mutli-vitamins, the brown ones are my multi-vitamin and the pink ones are anti-histamines for the dog!

#006 If The Sharks Don't Get You...

....The Rip Tide Will!

Driving home over the bridge there was the start of a cool sunset behind all the clouds so I drove down to Baker Beach.

#005 Heavy Surf Zone

Project 365 070805, originally uploaded by AXO - 365.

We went grocery shopping at the Safeway by Ocean Beach and saw one of these new signs. San Francisco is trying to get certified as a 'Tsunami Ready' city. According to San Francisco's Department of Emergency Management website

Phase I involves the installation of signs to indicate the inundation zone and evacuation routes.
It doesn't say what any of the other phases are, so I'm guessing these new signs are pretty much it. This one is right outside an apartment I lived in for the summer of 1999.
