T and I walked across the park to the Inner Sunset district for breakfast. We actually ended up eating at Howard's Cafe, but the smell of fresh baked bread from this little bakery made us all the more hungry.

I work from home on Fridays, but 'home' can be anywhere with a fast internet connection, so sonce I had to take care of some more college stuff today I working in one of the little study rooms in the Math department. On one of the shelves was this wooden puzzle.

I took the day off work to take care of a bunch of administritive stuff for this semester at college. Took the GRE, returned library books, paid late fees, paid tuition, took care of transcript problems and registered for classes. I'm all set for my second year.

#022 GRE

I have to take the Graduate Required Exam tomorrow. Since I'm already enrolled in the program it's just a formality and the score I get doesn't make any difference. Unfortunatly that has made it very hard to get motivated to prepare for it. In reterospect, 12 hours before the exam is probably a little late to start doing practice questions.

I have to take the GRE exam on Thursday morning. I spent the evening studying at Javahollics coffee shop. This is a picture of the graffiti on the bathroom towel dispenser. Oddly the rest of the bathroom was spottless, it was just this that had graffiti.

My co-worker has a pear tree, he brought us all pears today. The background is the only part of my desk not covered in papers or computer junk.

T and I took the dogs to lie in the sun and read this afternoon. Mandu was very interested in the game of frisbee being played up the hill.

Golden Gate Park on a Saturday is a collection of odd sights, almost like a microcosm of the city itself. From the 75 year old asian women doing Tai Chi at 8am to the Techno Roller Disco at 6th & Fulton to this. At 1pm on Saturdays Sprecles Lake is the home to radio controlled yacht racing.
