Inspired by Flickr's "Project 365" and my friend Kathy, I will attempt to post one picture per day for a year starting August 1st 2007. Sometimes the pictures will be artistic, sometimes they will be things that were important to me on that day and other times they will just be pictures of things I thought were funny. I am sure a lot of poorly shot, poorly composed photos will be taken, but hopefully so will one or two great ones.

#128 Flower on a Table

128/365, originally uploaded by AXO - 365.

T and I both worked from home today, so we walked across the street to the de Young Musem and had lunch at the cafe. Each table had one of these flowers in a small vase. This is an example of how different light sources show up on a digital camera. Daylight from the window looks a little blue, the tungsten light bulbs look slightly yellow and the pink/purple lampshade adds some warm tones. All three of them were hitting this white flower at the same time, which creates a nice effect against the black table.
