#218 Playtime

Our biger dog and smallest cat (all 14 pounds of him) love to play together. Their favorite game, often instigated by the cat, starts with the cat lying on his back and daring the dog to try and get near him. The dog in turn tries to put the cats entire head in his mouth while avoiding getting bopped on the nose by the cats claws. This can last a good 10 minutes, but unfortunatly moves at such a fast pace it's almost impossible to photograph.

For the record the dog almost always comes off worst. Even when he does succeed in getting the cat's entire head in his jaws teeth resting on his throat (quite disturbing the first time you see it) the cat has never even been hurt. On the other hand the poor dog has been known to finish this game bloody.
